COMPETITION TEAM

About The Team

Our Competitive Team ranges in age from 8-18 across 4 divisions. Dancers train in Ballet, Jazz, and Lyrical/Modern and compete in a large variety of styles. We attend 4 regional competitions per year as well as several conventions. Master classes, jumps & turns, solo coaching, guest speakers, and team building activites are also a part of our schedule. Rehearsal take place on weekends and team placement is determined by the Team Director. 

We pride ourselves on being a positive outlet for dancers to gain further performance experience, and experience growth in a competitive atmosphere. Our dancers regularly place in the Overall Awards at Regional Competitions. We also attended Encore Nationals 2021, where up against hundreds of other routines every age division on our team was recognized with an Overall Award placement!!

Audition Information

We do not hold a yearly audition for our team. Dancers are placed upon ability, experience, and age by the Team Director each May/June. Not all dancers who express interest in team are guaranteed a spot. Teams are announced each July and our comittment runs August-May. Summer training is required for team dancers.
